Awareness Programme on Value Added Products from Fruits and Vegetables (APVPFV) is a non-credit programme and was established in association with Agriculture Minister of Indian Government. The main objective of this programme is transmitting the knowledge and to develop the art to curtail the losses of post-harvest, production of fruits and vegetables as well as value-added products. This course also deals with developing the skill for self-employment in food transformation as well as its associated activities.
Quality control, Setting-up of an enterprise, Processing and value-added products, Marketing, Post-harvest management also falls under this course.
